Sixth Day: Genetically Engineered Catgirl

Meanwhile James was sitting on the bluebox throne as he watched his underlings with Jeanne beside him sitting on the floor with a collar on her. Most of them felt contempt while the others tried to butter him up with obvious flattery. Isaac stood silent beside him while a duke from bluebox read him a report.

“The rebellion are still contained in the north. However please rest assured that those remained here will follow your highness. As long as the princess demanded it.” The prime minister said. He was a former duke who was appointed by James to run Bluebox. None of them trust each other.

“Very well. The day is late. I will rest in my room. I trust this matter to your hands.” James said. He then walked toward his chamber with Isaac. Then he slept while activating his detection skills.

Meanwhile, Jeanne was sitting on the floor like a dog beside him. He gave her a blanket and she slept there, tears started to trickle. She was embarrassed being seen by her countrymen in such a disgraceful manner. Wearing a collar and dragged like a dog. But she has no choice. Everyday, she suffered from withdrawal symptoms.

James hearing her quiet sobbing threw another vial of potion at her. She quickly drank the potion and any thought of sadness quickly dissipated from her as she wallow in pleasurable trip. Then, both of them enjoyed a silent sleep beneath the occupied castle while Lily slept in a hotel beside the airport.

Morning came and the indolent Lily ate her supper in bliss. She didn’t have to do anything. In fact, Tiana was ordered by James not to move anywhere. James decided to use the more obedient Jeanne instead of the untrained Lily for his business in Bluebox. So, Lily was there only as a backup. She was there just in case the Bluebox court demanded that James prove that the entire royal lineage of Bluebox are under his thumb.

“Tiana!” Lily hugged her and started caressing her ears.

“I can’t clean your dishes like this, Lily.” Tiana sighed. She no longer resisted her advances.

“It’s fine. We have plenty of time anyway.” Lily said. “Tiana, did you know how the Genetically modified Catgirl by Ella Dusk came into being?”

“Hmm… It is not Ella Dusk. But the goddess of Anthrofauna. Elaine Twilight.” Tiana corrected Lily.

“Listen to me! The legend said that Elaine created beastmen as a symbol of coexistence between man and animals thousands of years ago. Between man and nature. But you know, there was no proof. what if the reality was different? What if catgirls was made by a degenerate professor who wish to pet their fluffy ears and tails instead?”

“Do not slight our goddess.” Tiana retorted. However, she was not offended. The primary religion of this world lies in the system. moreover, it was an open secret that many high level people have some loose screws on their head. So, there were many theories regarding beastkin maker.

“One day, a [Bio] mage was researching flora and faunas in the wild. Then, she met a fluffy animals called a cat.—”

“Stop it, I don’t want to hear it!” Tiana started to close her cat ears. She was aware of that theory regarding the catgirl whom was made by a [bio] mage called Elaine. There were a lot of speculations  regarding the origin of beastkin and the famous one is the one from bluebox nation where Elaine was instead depicted as a fluff lover.

The modest one was where she brought two babies, one from animals and the other from a slave then used her [bio] magic to fuse them together. But there are more theories where she instead copulated with beast and birthed beastkin. When the beastkin realized that these theories were possible, the mention of Elaine become a taboo topic uncomfortable to their ears.

“I will not slight your maker. Instead, I think you should be grateful! I shall praise Ella the greatest height for she has given us the bounty of catgirls to be petted. You should be glad that Ella has created a catgirl! Isn’t it extremely boring to only have women or girls as lady in waiting?” Lily started to rambled about the importance of catgirls.

“...Okay…” Tiana was weirded out. Even though she has proven herself that she is stronger than Lily, somehow she felt danger to Lily’s zealous rambling.

“Let me continue! When Elaine found a critter called cat, she was mesmerized as she fondle its soft fur. Her caress on her head felt heavenly for both Ella and the cat.” Lily continue to speak as she started lightly scratched Tiana’s ear. The ears twitched cutely and Tiana felt ticklish but she no longer resisted.

“Then Ella continue to pet it. However, a cat’s life was to short. Grieved by this, she inoculate a cell from the cat and a cell of her own. Then, the first Furry came into being. She adopted it as her own child. The catgirl has a a long triangle ears just like you and a long white tail. Then, when she walked outside with her child, the child found a fox! She brought it upon her mother. The catgirl said, “Look! Its ear was similar to mine. Can we keep it? It might be relatives of my mother!”

“The mother nodded and also stroke its back. It has a different softness and fluffiness than the catgirl. Ella was struck in love. Especially with its tail. You know, a foxkn tail was very fluffy. When you extended your hand, your finger will sink into it. Have you touch a foxkin tails?”

“Listen here. I let you touch my ears and tails because you are a royalty wit King James’ protection. I won’t let any stranger touch me especially my tails and ears okay? Don’t misunderstand, we do not touch each other nonchalantly.” Tiana said while admitting she has never touched other beastkin tails.

“What a shame! Well, continue on, I want to talk about the difference of tails. Catkin has a smooth and long tail it is especially nice to caress. While foxkin has a fluffy tail that seemed like cloud enveloped your hand. In Bluebox, I especially adore sleeping with my two foxkin’s tail as a pillow.” Lily said. Tiana quickly turned hostile at the mention of Lily sleeping with a tail but not with the person herself.

“What did you say?” Tiana growled.

“I didn’t kill them! I simply buy them off the streets! The vendor said they died a natural death that’s why it is expensive! The other one is still alive! She is my only serf!” Lily exclaimed. It was unthinkable for the indolent and chickenhearted princess such as Lily to consider killing with her own hands.

She knew about the notorious story about people killing beastkin for its tail fur. It happened for a while before the country explicitly forbade them. Killing them would reduce workforce and you couldn’t cut off their tails while keeping them alive.

“I see. Sorry, I jumped to conclusion.” Tiana said.

“That’s fine. Let me tell you about Lizardkin’s and wolfkin’s tail….”

Meanwhile, James was incredibly annoyed. The occupation didn’t go as planned and he even considered to simply ignored Bluebox as a whole. However, if he did that, and these nobles chose to merge with neighboring nation of Yellowbox, then it will have a disastrous consequences to Redbox. Moreover, Bluebox has several resources which Redbox would like to acquire.

With all of their royalty under his custody, James was sure they would be under his control. However, right now he wasn’t so sure. There were several dukes and even counts that try to become the new monarch. But without royalty, nobody would support them. But, when he ordered Jeanne, the ministers was lackluster in their response. James was confused at whose order they would obey.

“Princes Jeanne. It seems like you aren’t well today. May we postpone the meeting tomorrow?” the more polite minster replied. “We could not simply obeyed whatever the redbox nation told us. We have done exactly as King James told us. But the citizens resisted. Moreover, their nobles support them.”

“No! They would disobey me? They just need to calm down the rebels! Otherwise I can’t get my re… I mean. It was for the betterment of the kingdom!! Do they want to be executed?” Jeanne said, flustered. Her breathing got ragged at the punishment James gonna give her later if she failed this meeting. When he looked at her James sighed. The meeting was a flop.

“I will bring Lily here tomorrow. You will see that all royalty were under my control. I hope that they cease their futile attempt at rebellion by then.” James sighed.

“Yes sir.” The ministers all bow their head in reluctance.
