Fifth Day:Adolescent Baby and the Sixty-Nine Child

“Sister Jeanne?” Lily stood there agape. She heard she fell in battle. But she being here meant that she didn’t die but instead captured. Lily didn’t knew how strong Jeanne is but she was sure she was over level two hundred.

“Hah… Hah… Lily. How are you?” Jeanne was weirdly panting and sweating. As if she ran a marathon before coming here. She seemed uneasy and her eyes flitted back and here unfocused Looking at James. Moreover, she was weirdly polite to Lily. Lily, beig an indolent princess was usually ignored by other nobles of Bluebox. That includes Jeanne Scheherazade. She was often bullied due to her low level or [status] among the royals.

“I was captured by James.” Lily said. “You too?”

Their silence speak a thousand words. With a glance they understood each other. It has been over a year for Jeanne in captivity. She looked physically healthy. However, her demeanor was anything bu healthy. Her face was pale and her breathing was getting more ragged.

“Master!!” Jeanne dashed toward James when James motioned his hands towards her. Like a dog getting called, she groveled on his legs. Lily looked at her shocked. Her jaw almost dropped all the way to the floor. Jeanne was a prideful knight when they were together at the castle. Jeanne didn’t like Lily indolent nature, and Jeanne always scolded her for it. It was unthinkable for Lily to see her proud sister reduced into that state.

“Here. Open your mouth.” James said as he took out a vial of familiar pink potion from his [Item Box]. he then dropped some drop of it into Jeanne’s mouth as she opened her mouth while sticking out her tongue like a dog. The moment the liquid fell into her mouth Jeanne's relaxed as she moaned in pleasure.

“Ah… Thank you masterrr..❤” she slurred as she squirmed in pleasure. Seeing her turned into such a state sent a shiver of fear into Lily.

“Lily. Sit there.” James said as he rested his feet on Jeanne’s back. She crawled like a dog. Her face show no hatred nor humiliation but bliss. Lily walked forward on his order and sat across him on another sofa. Like a king he is, James was indulging in his sofa as another slave unknown to lily came to him and massaged his back.

The plane started to take off. Its huge wing soared into the sky after taking a lengthy road down the runway. The fuselage of the plane was filled with only two rooms. James’s luxurious cabin and a cockpit. The spacious interior of the plane was filled with sofas, TVs, and snack carts. Soon, his guards were munching on snacks. They closed their eyes as they only cared about what’s important for them. Their own life. Even Tiana didn’t bat an eye at James’s behavior.

“So, What’s the continuation of the story?” James asked.

“Huh?” Lily looked at him confused. But she quickly turned her gear when she saw James’s unpleasant face. She surprisingly still remembered the content of her story.“Ahh. Yes. The story about the Adolescent Baby and the Sixty-Nine Child. Once upon a time, there was a village who was cursed by the witch of time to be an eternal loli. They were cursed never to become older physically until they become level sixty nine.

“Then, a hundred years later, there were a pair of childhood friend. One is a child of a soldier while the other was a child of doctors. They were best friend and loved to play together. One dreamt to become the best knights while the other dreamt to become the best doctors.

“However, one of the childhood friend soon faced with hardship. She need to be this tall to enter.” Lily said as she mimicked the phrase used by a lot of amusement park while adding her own gesture to the mix. This elicited a chuckle from James. The crowd of guards and attendants behind him turned silent as they were intrigued by the story. They no longer tried to sexually harass the slave and flight attendants and listened. Of course, Lily didn’t pay them any mind because only needed to focus on James. She welcomed the silence nevertheless.

“Then the doctor and the child went out to do levelling. The doctor gave out all of her last blow to the knight. That way, the exp all went to the knight and she levelled up quickly. The doctors were a clever girl, she bred out rats and asked the knights to kill them.

“Soon, the knight leveled to level 69 and then she grew tall. More than twice of the doctors. Then, with a proud step, she registered into barracks. However, please note that both of them were 7 years old. However, as she was strong, and high leveled, she passed the test and got accepted.” Lily told the story. But Isaac stopped her.

“That’s ridiculous. You can’t level that way. The rats would be low leveled. The most you can get from that method is to level you to level 10 at most.” Isaac replied. But Lily simply smile and ignored him as she looked at James.

“May I continue the story?”

“Yes you may.” James went from smiling into frowning. He was reading too much on her words that it actually made him nervous.

“Then I shall continue. Then, with skill points the girl have, the knights beat out all of the other knights. Soon, she was hailed as the best knight in the kingdom.” Lily smiled as she closed her eye. Her gaze was no longer at James. But at her own story. It was the first time she put her heart into her story. She long to be idyllic as the knights where everything was made easy.

“How nice would it be if this story could come true.” Lily thought. Her indolent side was indulging in such fantasy. She smiled as she closed her story. But when she opened her eyes and gazed at James, they looked toward her unflinching. As if they expected something more.

“.…” the silence was deafening. Her hard work was recognized as unfinished and so, she has to continue.

“Soon enough, the neighboring kingdom attack. In the turmoil, the 7 years old adult knight came to the rescue! However. Against the champion of the other kingdom. She was defeated. The handsome champion said unto her thus, “ye who shall no labor shall not graced with glory. She went home feeling humiliated.”” Lily looked at her surrounding. But there was no applause nor was there any booing. She then scrapped the bottom of the barrel to gouge out more story.

“The knight turned back to her old friend who was still a little girl. Unchanging.”

“hm? Why didn’t the friend leveled up?” Isaac, the criticizer immediately commented.

“.… I-I-I shall tell them later.” Lily stammered. She had made no plans against whatever fate may befall on her two heroines. But since she spoke her tale as soon as she made it, just like a serialized authors trying to catch up to the deadlines, she let her story flow to whatever it wanted to. She then went on full autopilot and continue the story.

“The knights then told her thus, “My friend, the Kingdom was in peril. I have to defeat the enemy’s champion or we will be enslaved. Please, help me. I need to use your rats once more” she pleaded.

“The doctor, who was now living idly as a farmer and local doctor replied. “You are my friend. And thus, I need to say this. You could not use it anymore. Your level has stagnated right? There were simply no more enemies strong enough for you to level.” she said.” Lily immediately added the rules that you need an adequate level opponent to leveled up. It was all thanks to the criticizer Isaac. She then continue the story.

“”Then, what should I do?” The knights lamented. The doctor thought for a while and replied. “Why don’t you train your skills?”

“However the knights refused. “Training my skills would not do any good now. I need years to train them. If I don’t defeat enemy’s champion in a month, they would march toward our capital!”

“Then the doctor said, “Alright, I know how to increase your skill in a month.”

“”How?” The knight asked. “Do you have a master-swordsman that can teach me here?”

“Simple. You need to hold your sword and then swing back and forth. Then, your skill will raise up.” The doctor said. Then, a month later, with a swordsmanship skill level 10 the knight went back to the capital. And when she fought —”

“Greetings. Royal Flight to Former Bluebox territory will arrive at its destination in five minnutes. Please return to your seat and fasten your seatbelt.” the pilot announced that the plane has arrived.

“Pardon me your Highness.” Lily said as she fastened her seatbelt. James was not amused at the pilot but, they have arrived at their destination. He still has something to do tomorrow as well.

When James reached the hotel inside bluebox, he said to Tiana. “Tiana. Stay in the hotel with Lily. I have something to do tomorrow.”

“Yes sir.” Tiana bowed. James and his entourage went on to the Bluebox’s SkyBlue Palace. Like in a dreamland, the palace shone like a clear blue sky on top of a hill. Lily gazed at it longingly. She has spent her entire live living in it. Full of disdain and mockery. However, the place dear to her, the library offered a soothing fragrance as it calmed her heart.

“Is the library there still intact?” she asked.

“I don’t know. However, it is most likely is. King James do not engage in meaningless destruction. But a quarter of propaganda or bluebox’s history book would probably be burned already.” Tiana answered.

The Hotel Lily stayed at was similar to the room at Redbox castle. She now knew how opulent the royalty and nobility in Bluebox Nation was. King James was supposed to be the richest in Redbox Nation but even the room in the castle was the same as some hotel in Bluebox.

“He said he will not come tomorrow?”

“yes. King James will stay in the palace. He will not come to our hotel.” Tiana answered.

“Why can’t we all go to the palace?” Lily tilted her head confused at his order.

“It was King James’s order.” Tiana answered. She didn’t know why James made such on order nor did she need to know. She simply knew that if she disobeyed him, she might face with an even worse fate. That’s all.

“i see.” Lily didn’t investigate any further. Her indolent brain was too tired due to the ordeal she had to face in the airplane. She then went on to lay in her bed and rest.

“I still need to prepare for stories tomorrow….” Lily moaned as she drifted to sleep.
