Mod Update! vonHUD 10 Early Access — Let's Zoom in better on the Action!

A new round of upgrades is here for vonHUD!
As requested by many, I have integrated a Zoom functionality into the mod to have zooming and vonCommander fully working. Further updates include formation buttons in vonCommander, some visual add-ons and polishing.

Note on Load Order: I have raised the default Mod Load order to 99 — this is to make vonHUD compatible with official mod list load order suggestions, since it needs to overwrite Yet Another Quirks Revamped to have the crosshairs features working correctly.

Features:

vonHUD Zoom
To provide a stable extended zoom functionality that works also well together with vonCommander, the new vonHUD version integrates its own zoom. Since visual quality and professional looks are a core goal of my work, the vonHUD Zoom does not also enlarge the picture but also adds a visual effect with blur integration, side shadowing and a nice texture overlay. I hope you like it!:)

You can also find new Mod Options for the zoom functionality to increase the sped of zoom, the maximum zoom level and for lower-end performance PCs you can deactivate the blur and overlay. To strengthen general mod compatibility, You can also disable the vonHUD Zoom integration if it collides with something else in your mod list.

Formations & vonCommander Interface
The vonCommander Interface has new buttons for formations, which you can dynamically switch with a click. It is quite enjoyable in the top-view of vonCommander to see the lance falling into a new formation. In terms of design, the positioning of buttons and elements have been grouped more logically.

Next Steps:

To tickle the creative urge, I plan to take a look at if it is possible to add new maps to the arena missions in Mechwarrior 5. Beside the generated ones, there is currently only one custom arena present. With the work already done in vonMissions' Solaris 7, it would be great to design more custom arenas for more variety, action, and … fun! :)
