Dear Patreons, dear Support Community!
If you want to test out the first Solaris VII Arena (in a super primordial stage;) – here in this post, you can find the first early access mod download for "vonMissions" for Mechwarrior 5!
Load it with a high number so nothing overrides it (my standard load order: 26)

I spent the weekend getting to know the whole mission and campaign system better, and essentially brute forcing my way through. Now there is already a working mission chain of two arena fights, and I have also created the first art assets, portraits, logos, etc. for Solaris VII so everything starts to have a quality look & feel.
When you hop into your MW5 career (only career at the moment, since the campaign uses a different mission set) then you should get "Solaris VII Light Mech League" in your transmissions. You can accept the mission there and hop over to Solaris (Steiner/Marik border). Be sure to bring at least 2 light mechs! (max 35 tons)
Currently, if you die, you get a game over – this is due to that I don't really understand yet how failure states for single missions in a chain are done in a working way in MW5… But let's see if that can be changed in the future.
I hope you like this early preview – there are still tons of things to be found out and extended. But I had already great fun smashing through the other mechs in this new kind of open battle;)
The next phase will probably be a little more behind-the-curtain with experiments and tests to build up a system for more arenas, more weight classes, etc.
As usual, I post ongoing progress notes and screenshots on the #supporter-WIP channel on Discord.
And in other news:
Above you can see the brand-new Solaris VII Mod Trailer;)
It has been quite a success on my YouTube Channel, and thanks to Celestial also on Twitter at his "The Art of Battletech & Mechwarrior" channel & on Reddit.
Check it out, and be invited to like, subscribe and share;)
Thank you, have fun on Solaris VII, I am super happy and grateful for all your support! Also a big welcome to the new Patreon Members!
You should have already received a welcome email with all the information, if not, please let me know in a comment.
Cheers, have a good start into the week! ;)
