Some Changes (TLDR at the bottom) (Nov. Statement)

Hello everyone! Thank you all so much for your support during the making of the Clara project, both old and new subs! The project was quite difficult to pull off especially on the last several days, I had to really chain myself to my computer for a good while. I also wanted to share some insight on how things came to be, and how projects may get a bit smaller moving forward. For those that remember, the Clara project was actually originally supposed to be a lot smaller than it ended up being. But I figured that with the people I knew, I could probably just hire a bunch of people to do a lot of the labor-heavy work as I primarily act as a director. And while I did hire a bunch of people to do those things, there would be a lot of issues that were quite new to me, having previously been doing 80-90% of the work myself. And keep in mind, I think the team did a great job given their circumstances. But there would be issues with people's work that seemed good at the time but I still had to revise them later on, money issues, general inexperience, and deadline issues. I also just kind of have this higher standard for the projects, I really wanted it to look good, which is why I still ended up animating, cleaning, inbetweening, and coloring a majority of the hentai myself despite the help. Because if I gave the work to somebody else, and they struggled with it, that might actually end up losing time/money rather than saving it. The money problems were tough, some months I was breaking even, and some months I barely made anything. And, I won't mention who, but several people on the team had even offered their services for free/donated some of their own money to help alleviate the money issues with the project. And I thank those people so much for their help, it means the world to me knowing I have the support of all these people, and we can all come together and make something amazing. But with all this in mind, it probably would be better for projects to get smaller for the time being (and I mean it this time), at least until my fanbox can actually make the money to hire these wonderful artists and audio engineers for the amount they all deserve. Im not certain to what extent the projects will get smaller, maybe half or two-third's the current project size, I'll probably figure it out during the storyboarding process. And we'll aim to hopefully post more, and get my name out there more so we can potentially grow bigger (and perhaps larger projects can return someday). But yes, the next project will be smaller, so keep that in mind when the polls come around for the Ink Brush subs (I will be dropping the first poll in like the next few days most-likely). And since the Clara project had just finished, I will probably only be creating some smaller animation loops for the next couple months just to give myself some time to regain my energy and love for the craft plus spending time with my family; I've been burnt out before so I would like to pace myself. I love animating and I love storytelling, I want to make beautiful work that I can be proud of. Thank you all so much for helping me keep art as a part of my life. Because after my experiences with the industry, I was convinced that I would have had to let go of this thing that means so much to me, and yet its still here, and I thank you all for that. TLDR: The Clara project was quite draining, projects will get smaller moving forward (for now until we can make more money), and the next couple months will likely just be small animation loops and the-like for the meantime. The first poll wave for the next project will come out in the next several days but I won't work on that project right away to give myself some time to spend with my family and overall to relax from working so much.
