As an 11- and 12-year-old, I found Lt. Surge unhinged and aggro, at least in his Red/Blue days — but I was strangely transfixed by Brock and his shirtlessness. Brock made me feel ways I'd forgotten about since I had (finally) finished Kid Icarus years before, and Pit stopped teasing me with that mini chitoniskos he traipsed around in to show off his thighs.... Ahem. But yeah, Surge became hotter & less of a roided-out "Electric American" over the years. Never sexier than in Suyo's hands here, though ⚡
