Great reaction yall, just wanted to help clear up a couple things since it’s a bit confusing, hopefully Ronin can read this too lol. Firstly, BBY stands for “Before Battle of Yavin,” and the Battle of Yavin is when they blow up the Death Star in Episode 4: A New Hope movie. So the first 3 episodes take place 4 BBY, 4 years before A New Hope, and these 3 episodes take place 3 BBY, 3 years before A New Hope. Basically 1 BBY would be when Rogue One happens and A New Hope would be 0 BBY, and the years count down until those movies. That’s how they tell time in all of Star Wars between movies, shows, books, and video games. The equivalent for us in the real world would be BC and AD. Secondly, it looks confusing when Luthen met with Lonni, the Imperial supervisor, in the elevator because it’s the same area from season 1, but they were just showing that’s an established meeting point for them. That being said, nothing in this episode was a flashback and it’s all current with whatever year they’re showing at the beginning of the three episodes. Since you guys see how they’re skipping one year every 3 episodes, whatever year they show at the beginning of the 3 episode timespan is all taking place during the said year. Hopefully I didn’t make it more confusing and this clears some stuff up and makes it easier to understand when watching, but let me know if anything else is confusing.
