A fun fact about Gavv is he was original thought of and drawn back in 2018, as a concept to be the first rider of the Reiwa Era. And they finally got the okay to develop him into a rider, which is crazy because rider is developed 2 years in advance.

One thing to note is that his mother said our snacks not human snacks so I think she is referring to the "Dark Treats" Which seems to be made out of humans. This also implies that he has either never had snacks before or possible never had food at all before now. Either way you can see why he would have a big reaction to gummies for the first time.
