I get a guy on my YouTube shorts sometimes who does wasp content where he shows off a wasp and let's it go at the end after educating the views on why they are cool and important as a specific species. He is just a human who likes cool little dudes and comes with knowledge.

It was sad for me to hear, but one of my previous teachers at an internship had actually worked with him a bit and said that he was far more interested in being in front of a camera and being a showman. No doubt he did important work and his legacy has inspired much more, but if he were still alive he would definitely be seen as a more controversial figure.

I think some of them are really trying to be like their hero - Steve Irwin. I could be generalizing, but Iβm not talking about people who purposely harass animals to bite/sting them for clicks, just the people going into the wild and touching wild animals.
