This Weeks Questions:

SergeantJams: I’ve noticed that sustainability produced and/or long lasting products are often marketed as a premium products and priced as such. Besides engaging in the joy that is thrifting, how do y’all try to shop sustainably on a budget?

Jbubble: What is the most difficult part about producing or researching for the pod?

Anonymous: Which conservation issues are just one technological breakthrough away from being solved (or significantly helped), and how can people help with that?

SergeantJams: If you could choose one animals species to go mega viral (moo deng or pesto level) what would it be?

Jbubble: Do you have any irrational fears when it comes to animals? I am scared of parasites, probably because of that TV show I saw as a kid about "monsters inside you" or something like that.

For the first question I would add finding ways to Reduce and Reuse what you’re already spending money on. Personally I’ve been trying to do this with single use plastics — for example I buy Ziplock bags. If I can reuse a single bag 2-3 times (for packing snacks for work), I’m using less single-use plastic than I would otherwise. It’s not as great as those (expensive) biodegradable bags but it’s better than throwing away a plastic bag every day.

Thorium. Frickin. Reactors. LETSGOOOO!!!! The MS Quantum computing claims this was largely discredited, by their own paper none the less. Classic marketing backfire... Also Quantum computing isn't really going to work like a silicon based processor and we're not even sure what it can solve if anything. From my understanding the best use of them is decrypting stuff which is why everyone wants a quantum computer so they can basically break into any network. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bJTsFZtD7xE
