This Weeks Questions:

SergeantJams: Lucky enough to work in proximity w/ people in NASA’s Earth Sciences division and learned they are looking for new ways to communicate their findings to younger people. Do you think the ambassador model could work to make data about the big picture of climate change more digestible?

Jbubble: Your top 5 national parks?

Okok_Devin: Can you tell us about the importance of enrichment for animals in zoos and sanctuaries? What’s the strangest or most unique enrichment activity you’ve ever seen?

PigCow: Right now my job is to take care of/ exercise horses and knowing that horses are incredibly sensitive animals where you always have to pay attention to detail, would a job like this be good experience to go into some sort of wildlife rehab/ wildlife care job?

Jbubble: What do you guys find most difficult about being famous?

Comments

Disappointed guys. You should absolutely go to more national parks… especially now.

My bucket list is visiting all national parks. So far I have been to a whopping 0 but I'm ready to be that person in my 50s

Honorable park mention: Rocky Mountain National Park. Absurd number of “14ers” in the vicinity and really neat accessible alpine tundra ecosystem in the summer.

Of the ones I've been to: 1) Great Smokey Mountains National Park - pls go support East Tennessee and visit Gatlinburg 2) Carlsbad Cavern National Park - Drive through Roswell from Albuquerque and see the wildest McDonalds ever 3) Everglades National Park ; it's super dependent on what time of year you go but it's really cool at either extreme. Go to Miami and you're right next a few entrances 4) Mammoth Cave National Park ; Splunker's paradise. There's not a lot around it but it's such a cool cave system 5) Hot Springs National Park ; There's a resort town right in the middle of it that's very Art Deco and as of last year being revitalized.
