2025-01-18 19:20:01 +0000 UTCThis was fun! It's surprising how many of those are international (I'm Czech), while others I never heard of. For example, the one about looking into gifted horse's mouth: You can tell the age of horse by its teeth, so if you are buying one, you would check if the seller is honest about the animal's condition. However, if you are given one for free, it would be quite rude to do that. In short - if you are given something, do not complain about its condition.
