V_icariously: Did either of you know: many Indigenous peoples of North America used the back of a turtle's shell as a lunar & seasonal calendar? The 13 larger scutes on the shell represent 13 moons a year, while the 28 small scutes around the shell represent 28 days between full moons.
Dohregard: At every zoo I've been to the one thing I've never seen is a great enclosure for burrowing animals that is also a great viewing experience for visitors. I assume it's hard to make the animals feel safe due to them being exposed. Do you know of any good examples of this kind of enclosure?
Averipng: are there plans for more ambassador plushes? the yootooz ones are the cutest things and i would love a plush for the chickens or crows :) (of course any ambassador plush would be cute, i just love the chickens and crows a lot lol)
