So, Trish, what character did you prep?
Trish
I’ve got a Rogue Kenku with the Thief subclass.
MMS
You seem to play a lot of bird characters.
Trish
Do I? I hadn’t noticed.
MMS
Yeah. Anyway, you got, like, a background and stuff?
Trish
Right, so, I picked Criminal background with Burglar specialty. My guy is really good at sneaking around and loves stealing stuff.
MMS
Oh, you’re, like, a member of a thieves’ guild or something? Stealing stuff and selling it?
Trish
No, he’s just more of a prankster, really likes stealing things and hiding them from people. I’ve even given him the Skulker feat so he can sneak around better.
MMS
Sounds like kinda a bad person.
Trish
Oh, he’s horrible. For sure Chaotic Evil.
MMS
Oh, okay, yeah. Any other info on background? Where’s he from?
Trish
He originally hails from a small, quaint village filled with kind, thoughtful, and proper people…
MMS
Aw, that’s sweet.
Trish
…who have been relentlessly terrorized by my terrible little guy for years.
MMS
That’s less sweet.
Trish
Yeah, the townspeople even have to keep replacing the holy artifact in their temple, because my character keeps sneaking in and stealing it. He’s got a whole pile of holy artifacts now.
