Armor project - Where we're at currently
Added 2017-04-27 06:25:07 +0000 UTCJust wanted to give you a quick update on the armor project, also for the new Patreons who have pledged recently.
Right now all the funding goes toward a suit of 16th century armor, which is going to be made by the master armorer Jeffrey Hildebrandt at Royal Oak Armoury in Canada.
I've paid deposit and am on his waiting list. From now it's going to be about 8 months until he can start working on the armor. A suit like this would have been worn by a German Landsknecht officer. Highly advanced design, this is essentially plate armor technology at its peak.
Needless to say it will give me LOTS of potential for videos. :)
