WIPs and Sketches #29

More than a week ago that I'm back home from my trip to Anthro Northwest and Further Confusion.
At ANW I got to work a really lot, as much that people for sure knew where to find me at the convention, all time sitting on the art jam area, keep working on many drawings I had to do. "Hey, why don't you stop for a minute and have fun! You're at a convention! BTW I would love a commission by you, do you still have spots?"

It was a nice convention, tho! The panels and my participation were really nice, and they even gave me an award that I've been wanting to tell you about that, I'm wanting to write a journal about those last trips but I haven't been able to do it.

That's the main reason why I decided to give to another artist my spot for the Artist Alley at Further Confusion, I know that convention had many more attendees and probably would have been more profitable for me there than at ANW, but I had arrived so tired after ANW, so I decided to not work there and just enjoy the convention. I got to exhibit some art pieces at the Art show, all of them were sold which was something really awesome! 

But even at FC I got to draw but it is very different when it is just for fun and to give for friends and as art trades, than when are commissions where I'm committed to do something worthy for the money they paid me, because of course I just don't want to feel like I'm scamming people, if they trust to give me money to do something cool for them, I really need to put that love and effort to do something really cool for them!

Unfortunately I got to bring some homework with me, because there were some who insisted and begged me they wanted art by me even if it was for taking home, I told them I was going to take a while, and now I'm combining some rewards (as you can see on the Trello board, I'm finally advancing on them again), with those that I took to work at home.

At least finally I'm experiencing attending furry conventions with no working at all, that's something I should start doing more often. That's possible thanks to Patreon but of course I still need to keep working on all the rewards I owe to so many of you! But definitely I'm reducing so many conventions to attend, for more than people and friends are wanting to see me at TFF, FWA or FE... I'm really not attending those conventions, I really want to clear all my rewards and start working on my own projects, both are very important for me and I want to give them priority than traveling to furry conventions.
My last one planned for this first half of the year is NordicFuzzCon, it's one that I had been planning to attend since 2021, and finally it is happening! And I miss all my European friends!
