Hi my friends!!
I really hope you are having a great February!
As you may know, I'm not someone who pays too much attention to social nework numbers or anything, I really don't mind. I prefer to know what my friends think about my artwork and such.
But something that I've noticed and it has been a very funny coincidence, is that... every time I do a drawing, painting, illustration... that I LOVE and I feel so proud of it and "dude this time I did something really great with this art piece".... I know that piece will get very low numbers on stats, very few likes and shares comparing to other artworks I do, almost no comments.
It's just something funny that I noticed but it is not that I care. Because that would make me be not myself, let me tell you why. Because in the other hand, I've noticed that when I submit a simple drawing, a funny topic, a pic that took me less than an hour to do... that will explode in numbers. If I really cared about stats, then I would be producing only simple drawings, I would break my head thinking on more funny topics, I would draw more than what I've seen people likes.
But personally I love doing pieces that creates emotions, make people feel nostalgia, that it gets back to memories that we had forgotten. And not only that, I also love to experiment with techniques, new ways to paint, different colors, different materials, I want to keep discovering myself with art. And probably those are not topics that most of people are interested, must of people would be more interested in memes and funny things (not like I don't like them, of course I also like that content!). But my intention is to create art pieces that people who cares will stop, to feel things inside, to get back some memories, some experiences, just to smile at it, and contemplate for maybe 30 seconds (sometimes less, sometimes more, but fair quantity of time comparing to the process that took around 10 hours to get ready).
Well, I don't know why I told this, I guess it was just a thought I had today and I wanted to share it on this "Full Resolution Pics" of this month.
This time I'm bringing 10 drawings on their respective full resolution for all of you. I really hope you like them! You can download them on the ZIP file attached on this journal.
Soon I'll be sharing news about the exclusive Clubhouse Pins for 2022, and... more WIPs, because this has been a very productive time!
Thank you for your support, I really appreciate it!
This panda loves you all!!
Paco.
