PO Box Story Time

Probably many of you know that I have a PO Box, that I've shared some times publicly (especially on my YouTube channel).

Today I went to check my box, and I found many things (including the physical Good Furry Award, yaay!! and The Fandom movie on bluray that I had ordered more than a year ago).

One of the things I found, it was a letter by someone named Ramsey, who was asking me for an autograph, you can read the letter that I attached with this post.

But wow, this guy was really considering everything!! He even included a blank sheet so I could attach the autograph on it, so I didn't have to worry about finding a piece of paper for him.

And also this thing...that it was very cute and considered by him, he included an empty letter envelope with an American international stamp on it, so he was pre-paying for me the mail I could send to him, and it was INTERNATIONAL because...of course, I'm in Mexico, it must be international, right?

He was really thinking on everything! But well, that's not how it work international mail, I can't use his stamp because it is from USA, and... I'm in Mexico. I imagine arriving to the postal office showing them that I already had a stamp but of course they won't recognize that stamp as them, and they will make me pay for it anyway to include the accepted international Mexican stamps XP

Of course I send him back a printed photo of my fursuit with an autograph in a new paper, not his attached sheet because sadly it was very wrinkled, and a new envelope with my own Mexican stamps for international mail, a sticker and a card.

It's funny how I'm considered for him a mascot/character, which doesn't bother me, after all the character of Paco is a panda, so yeah, he's a character and could be a mascot of what I do n///n

I wanted to share this little story with all of you, I never imagined I could receive this kind of things so for sure I accepted his request.

If you want to send something to my PO Box, here it is:

Francisco Briseño
A.P. Santa Anita
A.P. #11
Priv. Colón No. 4
Santa Anita
Tlaquepaque, Jalisco
México

If you're sending something, recommend you to write it exaclty as I'm showing, without omitting anything.
I've received cards over the name "Paco Panda", I don't recommend that because for big packages that can't be saved in that little box on the office, they save it in the office for me but for picking it up they ask me for my ID and the name on the package needs to be exactly as it appears on my ID.

Remember not sending food if you're sending something internationally, Mexican customs is not great fan of food (but for some reason once I could receive cookies, but I remember when a friend send me some candies, they returned that package because laws in Mexico have changed recently about products with excess of sugar/fats/conservatives).

Well, that's all, a very short story I wanted to share with all of you.

Panda loves.
Paco.

I was not aware that exist, it is good to know! But well, mailing this card to USA costed me 11 Mexican pesos, which is like 50 cents of dollar, heehee.

Hehe, that's cool that someone wants your autograph! By the way, have you heard of these? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/International_reply_coupon . The idea is that you buy a coupon from your local post office, send it to someone in another country, then they can go to their post office and exchange the coupon for their country's stamp. It solves this exact problem! But US post offices stopped selling them in 2013 because nobody ever bought them :( (US post offices will still accept coupons from other countries though).
