Hi guys!!!

Here your favorite panda (I hope to be your favorite, if not, I will do my best to be your favorite!!) communicating one more month!!

I hope that all those who pledge see this message. As a small Christmas gift by me, this time the full resolution versions of my pics will be for all the pledgers in Patreon, not only for those who are supporting with more than 3 dollars.

But it is especially because I want to tell you some important messages that I want everyone to read.

First of all, thank you for everything, you are the best of the best:

Patreon had threatened to change his policies of fees, which created a great controversy with all the Patreons, who didn't want to be charged more than what they put to pay to the artists they are supporting.

I must say that when I read the e-mail that Patreon sent on December 6th, I thought it was a good idea, since that famous fee charging has always been paid by us, the artists; but now they were going to exchange it to pay the pledgers instead of us. But after analyzing it well, it was completely unfair. I could notice it because here in Patreon, I'm not only a creator, I also support other artists, I also like to support people I admire, regardless of looking for their rewards. So then I was going to be paying 3 times for fees to Patreon instead of just once (I support for 3 artists).

I worried a lot, I saw on Twitter some screenshots from other artists who are also working from Patreon, showing how many of their supporters were abandoning their pledges because of this policy. However, despite knowing that many of you expressed with me their dissatisfaction with Patreon, non of you abandoned the monthly donation.

I planned to write a post here (I didn't do it because I was very busy, or was not home), expressing my opinion about this matter, and inviting you to, if you were really against these new policies, you were free to stop supporting, because in the end it was Patreon's fault. I would have understood and I would not have felt bad about it, as I said, I could also identify myself with the problem because I'm also a pledger of other artists.

(I did write something about this on the telegram's group, tho. But there is very easy to get lost for the daily chat)

However Patreon regretted these new changes, realized the millionaire losses that this would generate, and declined their change, which returns everything to normal. But really thank you very much because none of you abandoned your support. You are the best!!

And thank you because everyone accepted my decision of not doing rewards in December, because of the excess work I have, and even though I gave you the option to pause your donation at least this month, nobody did. Thank you!!!!! <3

Now I want to tell you something very important. As you have been able to realize, I haven't advanced my Art & Biro comic as I would like, this has become a disaster and a never ending cycle, I must confer that it is my fault and that I can't reverse this, but I could think on a solution, is what I'm going to talk now:

I was very generous in planning my rewards that involved so much work to be done: telegram stickers, monthly sketches, etc.

The bad thing is that now this is what I almost always spend the whole month doing, it has become my new job, making sketches and stickers for my Patreons. I'm not complaining, I'm very honest when I say that I have a lot of fun working on sketches and stickers for all of you, but that has meant that I can no longer offer regular online commissions (I only take commissions at conventions), and the worst thing is that I can't work on my comic anymore. It was supposed this Patreon account was for my comic, hehe.

I have been late doing the rewards, I am currently working on the rewards from October, being that we are in mid-December.

My option would be to stop offering rewards, which many of my friends have suggested, but I am completely against it, at least with all of you, who came to my Patreon supporting me with the illusion of having such rewards. So everyone who came to Patreon in December of 2017 or before, has no reason to worry, none of the rewards with you will change in the least.

SO DON'T WORRY!!! YOU WILL KEEP HAVING REWARDS AS THE SAME AS ALWAYS

If you started pledging with $8 monthly, you will keep having a sketch every 3 months, if you are pledging with $15, you will keep having a sketch each 3 months and stickers every 4 months. If you pledged for $30, you will keep having a redbubble shirt.

You will probably receive an e-mail where it says that I have changed the rewards of your level, ignore it! For all of you it will not apply, I will continue to make sketches and stickers for those who entered in 2017 or before here on my Patreon.

However, I had to put a break on all this, and change the rewards ONLY for the NEW ONES that are arriving after the mid of december 2017 and all 2018, and if they really want a sketch or stickers by me, they will have to be based on the new levels' rewards.

But your opinion for me is very important, what do you think of all this?

Now about Christmas ... it's definitely my favorite time of the year, I love all this season, where it's already cold, it's the perfect time to have hot drinks (I love coffee and fruit punch). Despit I have a lot of work for Christmas, hehe. But still I'm willing to spend a very happy time with my friends and my family.
