It’s really interesting the amount of storylines that have been happening off screen. Both in s5 and 6 there have been entire plots happening via social media. In s5 Ava had somewhat of an online flirtation with a mystery guy of her own (who originally replied to the Nora mystery guy account) with the username huelk (he has a locked insta too, but he’s not come up since toward the end of s5. Also Zoe and Finn were having some issues behind the scenes bc Finn’s mom doesn’t like Zoe. I would say these are spoilers, but they aren’t really because they are just happening in social media and not on screen. S6 there’s been a a whole social media plot (again not mentioned on screen really) of something going on with Constantin- text messages that imply he has problems at home and he’s been seriously spiraling into alcohol and possibly drugs and posting all hours of the night and now his friends it seems are having some kind of intervention for him. It’s really crazy because none of this has really been talked about in the show itself but it is happening. It’s making a lot of people think s7 might be Ismail’s bc there’s been some set up and they are besties with Constantin so they might continue that plot on screen next season but who knows. I love the druck utilizes social media a lot but it’s also kind of a double edged sword how much you miss if you’re not following the texts and insta stories.
