There was a text exchange where Robbe agreed to pick Noor after her shift which ended at 7. The clip where he’s rushing to meet up with her was at 7:21, so he was only 20 minutes late. Yeah he should have texted her that he was running a bit late, but that reaction from Noor was still over the top. She acted like he committed a crime for being a little late to pick her up.

I definitely agree that this kiss scene out of all of them brings up feelings and emotions similar to the original and I think thats maybe because Robbe is the closest to Isak character wise. His internalized homophobia and confusion is his main driving force in most of his actions and I feel like it was like that for Isak as well - more so than Lucas or Matteo. Lucas, for example, was less confused about his feelings for Eliott and more angry about them. So, seeing Robbe finally let go and get the courage have his first kiss with a boy kind of hits hard like when Isak has his first kiss with Even. Anyway, great reaction! Can't wait for the next episode :D

Also I’ve seen Dutch people say that the slur Robbe used isn’t the exact same as the f word (they have a stronger slur for that), but there’s no exact English translation for the word Robbe used so the f word comes closest. Same thing with Robbe saying Sander abused him. The translation meaning is more like took advantage of.

Such a great reaction. I completely agree with you about the kiss scene being the first to measure up to the OG. That’s how I felt about wtfock in general, especially s3. It was the first time a remake gave me that same feeling that I got in the original. It hit me emotionally in a way none of the other remakes have. That’s why it’s my fave. Can’t wait for ep 5!

The actor who plays Robbe said that after the scene where Robbe blocks Sander, he completely broke down on set because of how painful it was for Robbe to feel like that. Also, I agree with Morgan that it’s important to note that there is no English translation for what Noor said and to keep that in mind. I am SOOOO happy you enjoyed this episode. Ngl I was a little nervous
