Hi guys, how are you doing? I just wanted to let you know that I’m still working on the final version of Stop Master. However, something curious happened these last few days. I’ve been working on this game for about 8 months, and not many people knew it existed. But I decided to post it on a couple of indie game sites, and the popularity it got was incredible. People even started sharing my game on several pages and I’ve already seen a couple of gameplays out there. Of course, this also increased the support I receive on Pixiv Fanbox, which is the only financial support I get for this project. I’m really grateful for how much you’ve enjoyed the game, and even though it’s a beta and it has already had very good results, this motivates me even more to push this project forward. This massive feedback I’ve received has helped with many good things, like giving me ideas to add to the game—for example, letting the protagonist also have white skin, adding some extra settings, and other things I plan to include. And there are many other ideas; some are feasible and others not so much. What I’m not sure about is whether I should try to add everything before releasing version 1.0, or just release what I currently have planned for 1.0 and then, in later versions like 1.1, 1.2, etc., start adding all these things, since there are so many I’d like to take into account. Of course, now that thousands of people have played Stop Master, something I was afraid of has also happened: many players have sent me a huge number of bug reports that occur on certain phones and computers, because the game is not optimized enough to run on all devices. This causes glitches like some textures not loading, or loading incorrectly. I will, of course, try to fix everything I can, but I can already see that some issues will get out of hand if I don’t have access to the computers and phones where those bugs happen. After all, on my PC and my phone (which is pretty basic) these errors don’t appear, so it’s hard for me to tell whether my fixes actually solve the problems or not. Anyway, I’m making this post to let you know what’s been going on these days and what’s coming for Stop Master. I was a bit discouraged because the game wasn’t showing up in any kind of search, but now it’s popped up across a bunch of places, and I guess that, one way or another, that really helps this project.
