So, as I've mentioned earlier as well as in this recent article, Hedon is going full standalone, it's no longer a Doom mod but a fledged game that runs on the GZDoom engine. It's been long due to make the change, but it's not even that much of a change since Hedon has always been an entirely original game. It's just that from now on, the game won't be bundled along with freedoom.wad anymore, and the engine will recognize Hedon as the one and only file to work with.
Anyway, I have to catch up with some asset replacement. Right here I'm working on a replacement for the classic Doom teleport fog (that green particle effect). I have to admit I grew pretty attached to it (and the sound effect it made) but we gotta' move on and get legal.
