Clearing up Patreon Pledge Issues: PLEASE READ

Hello everyone,

I have recently posted about a patreon pledge glitch that prevents people from seeing unlocked posts. I will ALSO be pinning this post to the top to let you know what I can do or cannot do for you regarding this matter.

My patreon page is fairly new, and I have noticed that patreon has undergone a lot of changes this year, you can check here what changes they have done to their page.

PATREON UNDERGOING CHANGES:
With these changes there is an incredible number of bugs that have arised, one of the most annoying ones being this one, where someone will pledge and the posts remain locked for them. So let me address what happens when you pledge first.
When you pledge you automatically unlock the posts pertaining to that tier. I only have three tiers which are currently also limited for taxation purposes that are as follows: $1, $3, $5, the highest tier will grant you access to all the posts from that tier and also the lower tiers.  (My $5 tier remains open currently) only the lower tiers are not available. There is no way to manually grant access to each person who pledges, this would be too overwhelming for creators to handle so the posts and tiers become unlocked when you pledge. Patreon should not grant access to any of these tiers if they are currently limited however, I am unsure at the moment if that is the case as I have inquired with patreon and have gotten NO response.

CONTACTING PATREON SUPPORT:
There IS a way to contact patreon for help, and I have found the link for you here so you do not have to do a google search and find it yourself. Some people are unable to find the link and think there is no way to contact them but in that page you will see there is actually a couple of ways to reach them.

HOW CAN I HELP AS A CREATOR?
As a creator there are two ways I can help you with this issue, one is by checking the status of your pledge to see if you are an active member. The second is by refunding your money if the posts do not become unlocked within a few days. Other than that, I cannot grant you access any other way on my end, as this is something that is automatically done when you pledge.


Patreon has become more of a hassle to use than anything else, and I am seriously considering closing my page and finding a patreon alternative if these issues persist. I cannot handle so many problems with their server corrupting files, locking posts when people pledge, etc etc etc as I have no control over any of this and it is becoming increasingly stressful for me  to manage all of this.

-I am truly sorry to all the people who are having this very inconvenient issue with patreon currently, but patreon has become a disaster after the new updates they have applied.
