A coupla plecostomuses (sp? plural?) woulda' cleaned up the green in no time a'tall. Do the regular partial water changes and you'd be good to go. You probably can't have too many gallons of fish. A 250 gal tank sounds sweet.

2022-01-17 13:22:03 +0000 UTCA friend of mine spent months researching saltwater fish, and installed something just jaw-droppingly large - thousands of gallons probably . The section of his basement below it seriously looked like a chemical plant with all of the pipes, filters, aerators, and βchemical things.β I donβt know what he spent on it, but my guess is tens of thousands of dollars. Super sharp guy, but that was way above my level of commitment and budget. 250 gallons is not extreme!
