Whoops! We Scuppered Ourselves.

Hey guys!

The ocean currents bring tidings that we need to share with you, and things could get choppy. Here goes...

We originally planned to launch the full Patreon with the £8 Red Dragon tier and a boatload of awesome pirate miniatures in the final week of January. It didn't occur to us that, due to the way Patreon bills subscribers, this could result in some patrons being charged twice for a single month of content - once at the end of January and again on February 1st. We also now realise that stating that we'd launch fully in January would lead most people to expect this to happen on January 1st, rather than later in the month - that's our mistake and we apologise sincerely for any confusion.

This realisation means that we've had to tweak our plans slightly. Basically, the way Patreon works means that we pretty much have to launch on the 1st of any given month, which leaves us with the choice between bringing our planned launch date forward to January 1st, or pushing it back slightly to February 1st instead. While we'd love to bring you Von Keelhaul's Drakenreef Pirates a little earlier than intended, our production timeline means that this just isn't possible. So our full Patreon subscription will now launch on February 1st 2022. No ifs or buts - that date is now tattooed on our arms, right next to a gorgeous mermaid wrapped around an anchor.

Other than that, nothing else has changed. Our £1 Pre-Launch Tier will continue, with patrons receiving a brand new miniature in December, and another in January. You'll also receive a bonus thankyou miniature if you upgrade from this tier to the £8 Red Dragon Tier between the February 1st launch date and February 8th when the Pre-Launch Tier wraps up.

Thanks for your patience guys. We promise it will be worth the wait! We haven't even shown you the biggest and best miniature in February's pirate collection yet, and we have more amazing themed miniature collections coming in the months ahead that you're going to absolutely love!
