An Update
Added 2021-12-25 05:43:34 +0000 UTCTerribly sorry about not updating everyone, been a bit busy. However, I have a bit of news all around.
The Notecromancer's Guide to Dolls has been completed, I'll be finishing the entire thing up during a special event stream around the 27th. It was long, but it was interesting poking my head into another piece of game design, with all the restrictions that came with it.
Outside of that, the main thing that occurred this week was working on this video, part of my series of "So You Wanna Make a TTRPG" videos, giving some off-kilter advice to developers. It was on a refined version of the GNS Theory, simply adding in the Kinetic angle instead of gamist. The entire concept being that all mechanics can be broken down into Kinetic (Game First), Narrative (Story First), or Simulationist (World First) design. So far it's received pretty positive reviews, so, huzzah!
As for the more formal update, Satan Wore Snakeskin will be formally started at the start of the year as I get back on schedule, I've been itching to get back into streaming, but I decided to give myself a break until "The Big Boy" End of the Year Stream.
This year I plan on developing more content video wise with a bit more structure to the release schedules. More videos, more Curious Cases, and generally more "stuff." Game wise, I plan on adding a few oddities to the list, including sticking my hand into Wargame design. Card games are still a no-no because pain.
However, 2022 is shaping up to be pretty good, and I'm glad you all have stuck with to it. Hopefully I can continue to deliver what you're all wanting.
