Back, Back to the Grind
Added 2021-09-21 03:11:27 +0000 UTCWe return to our regularly scheduled madness.
Managed to go over some of the details of Dark Corners and Old Tomes as well as Ojisan Demon Slayer Corporation. I'll be able to commit further during Wednesday when we begin formally on DC&OT.
The main issue I've put myself through there is debating on whether to make it more comedic or play it straight. Both have their advantages, both have their drawbacks. This is suggesting I even bother to keep with a dice-based system. We live in anarchy and the only solution is summoning forth Cosmic Dice Gods to assist.
In other news.
Media week has concluded
• Black Ops - British Unit Horror Dumb Movie Dumb
• Prey - German spooky movie with no supernatural stuff, good stuff, a bit poor when sticking the landing though. Remember kids, not all horror has to be "Fantastical Horror."
• Cosmic Sin - Bad. But those armor designs are mine now.
• Errementari: The Blacksmith and the Devil - Folklore vibe to it, I enjoyed it, mid drags on a bit.
• I Am Alone - Fun Zombino Movie, but it's from a Bear Grylls PoV. Reminds me I don't have a zombie game.
• "Movie With Really Dull Name But It Was Good" - Super Plague forces starlet to rural town, pretty good stuff small town living.
Oh, and we'll be getting another PDF in the Library here soon. Deep Sea: Endless Expeditions was a game based on Wadanohara and the Great Blue Sea an RPG Maker Game. I got paid initially to write it, but I quickly found myself enjoying it, leading to its "second" installment. This also reminds me I really aught to see about trying to emulate RPG Maker Combat.
