I'm not sure if the running bit where y'all day that Bones and Bojack Horseman exist in a shared universe is sincere or a joke, in which case it's entirely possible that I'm just being a nerdy dickhead here. But I do want to clarify that Bones as living person does not exist in the Bojack Horseman universe: The TV Show Bones does, and Emily Deschanel cameos as the character in a scene where Mr Peanutbutter watches the show because he's a dog and gets excited because bones. Also, it's a weird version of Bones from an alternate reality where the show is good and Bones says things like "To the Bonesmobile!", a line which Emily Deschanel audibly doesn't find funny.
