Red Rooster is when you dont want to go into Coles or Woolworths and get one of those chickens in a bag for $6, instead you want to drive thru and get it and chips and a 1.25 Coke for $20. Theres one near me and it only ever has three staff on, they serve your food instantly. the inside light are usually off and no ones goes there. Its weird. Also, in Western Australia, Red Rooster is like the "posh" chicken (roast veg and chips) and mainly North of the river, Chicken Treat (better, cheaper, Hawaiian pack) is the "povo" South of the river chicken.
