CHANGES TO OUR TIERS AND REWARDS

Recently we've been really trying to focus on improving the quality of the show, and we hope that it shows! However, we're also very aware that we haven't been delivering on the bonus content for the Lover and Wife Patron tiers.
This is partly due to technical and legal constraints (there's basically no way we can record and post the Movie Nights after the fact without them getting taken down). It's also partly due to the realities of creating this show when we all work jobs and have families.
There's only so many hours in a week, and while we're investing more time, we're investing into making the show better rather than adding extra bells and whistles.
As of today, we will no longer be offering those extra rewards (which we were pretty much not fulfilling) at the Lover and Wife levels.
We apologise to anyone who subscribed specifically for those benefits. We will still be doing extra bits and pieces like movie and game streams, but when we can squeeze them in rather than on a set schedule.
Here's where you come in! We figure our two options are as follows:
- We can remove the rewards from the Lover and Wife tiers and return them to their original state: a way for people to show additional support and get a fun title, but nothing else
- OR we can remove the Lover and Wife tiers and flatten it out to a single $5 a month tier with bonus episodes and Discord access as the rewards

I'm a wife because I want the hosts to have more things; Andrew to buy nice things for his children, Theo to sustain his lifestyle of oppressively large university workloads, Ben to be able to get the dankest of nugs, Lucy to be able to take her husband out to fancy quiz nights in Hawaii. This podcast has created a wonderful community of friends that would go to the ends of the world for each other and that's the best reward a friend, lover or wife can get.
