NJM Paint Club - How to paint The Wurmspat (my way!) - How to paint Nurgle with Inks and Oil paints

First birthday of the channel and a special video!!!
The Wurmspat is the first warband painted for the NJM Paint Club:
this is the first turn of the Paint Club and I want to paint loosely following the boxart using simple, effective methods based on the materials and techniques that are my signature.
This is not a speed painting video but I still want to keep the work in the time of a painting session with friends! This is a paint club afterall!

I had a little issue with YouTube and the background music I used for the long video so I'm re editing the whole thing and it should be here tomorrow, sorry for the delay and thank you for your patience!

Did you check the official NJM Merchandise?!?
https://teespring.com/stores/not-just-mecha-2

Plus I opened an affiliate account with Element Games and soon I'll have my own internal shop with my bundles and my favorite tools but in the meantime if you add this code
?d=10465  at the end of a link on their page I get a little kickback. Thanks a million in advance for your support ;)

Stay tuned!!!

Hi! The value sketch at the beginning can be easily done with the brush and standard acrylics ( check this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pWojUQsVoKk&t=559s ) it just takes a bit more time. You can do it also by drybrushing if you don't mind its texture!

Hey Marco! Happy to get started on these models this weekend. I’m going to my local paint shop to pick up some oils (first time!) and other colors, but I was curious about if you had any recommendations for substituting the airbrush highlights (specifically the white ink) in the beginning. I don’t have an airbrush and have a lot of trouble with getting spray paint to create a similar effect.

Congratulations on completing your first year.
