Unholy Arts v0.2 Changelog
Added 2020-10-21 08:59:18 +0000 UTCIt's taken a while, but version 0.2 is finally ready! Here's the changelog:
Story Events
- What was previously a placeholder story event is now an actual story event. All Candidates are involved, at least to some degree. It has over 12 different potential outcomes, some of them may be disabled depending on your settings. Some options may be disabled if your relationship with Nashillbyir isn't good enough.
* Some outcomes of this event may change a specific character's behavior. A future event is expected to provoke the same change if the player didn't get one of these outcomes. Given that it's a dramatic change that may be annoying to miss for some players, this change will temporarily apply in *all* outcomes of this story event, even if it is not properly notified. Once the future story event is in the game, this temporary patch will be removed.
Special relationships
- Offers to initiate a servitude relationship as master will no longer be auto-accepted. The conditions to get a character to become your servant this way are extremely severe and require either extensive grinding or use of the Cheat Menu, so it's generally not recommended.
- Contrarily, the offer to initiate a servitude relationship as the servant is very easy most of the time. If the target character's submission (mood and relationship), boredness and anger are high enough, they will refuse, but will accept otherwise.
- NPCs that are the submissive in a special relationship and are invited to social interactions by the dominant will now always accept.
- Similarly, the Player will not be allowed to refuse a conversation if the NPC initiating it has a dominant special relationship with them.
Balance
- Changed the duration of generic map sex scenes from 25 to 30 turns.
- Some scenes may now restore the lust of some participating characters.
* Winners of sex battles will have their lust restored.
* Lust will be restored for characters who have at least one orgasm during generic sex scenes.
* This will also apply to sex scenes from some story events.
Other
- Added difficulty settings. Easy and hard will now change the player's starting stats and stat affinities.
- Added character icons to some early story choices to help players who may have not learned their names yet.
- The game's logo now has a different illustration, this one made by Shirarin.
- Added small functionality to implement a hotfix button to the personal room screen. This will allow some hotfixes to be usable in saved games from very recent versions. It will only be visible if it's usable.
UI
- The player character will no longer be shown in the UI bar during scenes where the player character does not participate.
AI
- As a temporary measure, Candidates won't be able to use certain moves during battles. This is in order to ensure they're more likely to use moves that benefit from their best stats, until I get to make a proper AI for battle scenes.
- Added mission for Candidates to socialize with any random character in a special submissive relationship with them during socialization period, which will increase the frequency at which they talk to them.
- Added check for social AI: if character is in a social interaction where the only characters are themself and characters in special submissive relationships with them, and character has a small combined amount of aroused and flirty moods, will demand dominant sex.
Supporter Rewards
- Selecting the "Boons were received" quickstart bookmark will apply three relationships day-ticks. This makes the effects of the relationship changes created by the bookmark turn into relationship levels immediately, which is important for the new story event.
- Added button to push a relationship day-tick to the Cheat Menu.
- Added Patreon supporters list to credits.
QoL
- Some scenes will now show remaining turns until the end.
Bug fixes
- Fixed bug that would allow a character that was the target of a continued action to use relatiating actions against a character other than their aggressor that was performing the same type of action, in battle scenes (for example, player pushing hips back against Nash, when Nash was scissoring Mir and Claw was scissoring the player).
- When player is challenged in the middle of SIS, they will be notified immediately, instead of keeping a ghost prompt in the map.
- Fixed a bug that provoked combat to be skipped when it was initiated by a NPC against another NPC that the player was following while the player was in SIS.
- Fixed error that would take the player to the alternate scissoring scene with Mysterious Woman at the start of the game if the "Disable main story content" futanari option in settings was selected, when that scene should only be available through "Disable all content"
- Added command to clean the current scene at the end of a map simulation period, in order to prevent rare cases where a scene starts right when the map simulation is about to finish, which bugged the UI.
