I've been hiding and finishing the tones/colors on Mimosa! IT'S ALMOST DONE!!! Three years!! I've been working on this comic for three years?!? Maybe more?! Totally bonkers.

Anyways, here's a clip near the end of the book. I was trying to capture the feeling of going to the queer dance night alone. And then when you finally find a friend, he's not actually able to be there for/with you! I love Alex (the guy Elise runs into), he is my problematic fav from the story--if I can have problematic favs from my own work?!

To be honest this comic doesn't even feel like I did it. I keep running into pages I don't remember drawing or writing! Maybe one it's a solid project that exists IRL, it'll feel like something I DID, but right now it's a blur.
