Weekly update #05 ~ Be safe

Not feeling so hot today so a smaller update. Some of the features/fine tuning we'd requested for the site pushed the time frame out a bit, but we're still on track overall ovob Just means we'll be on the later end of our schedule.

(uh.. also I tried to post this on dA but for some reason it is freaking out on me and adding emoji randomly, not letting me type where I want to, and deleting instead of backspacing???? so I'll... have to wrangle that one later lfdkjghd wth)

But there was something else I wanted to say for this update in light of everything that's going on. Please guys be safe. I was up until like 4am this morning watching news of the looting and chaos that's following in the wake of people trying to protest peacefully. It's terrible that there are groups/individuals out there that are hijacking these events to just be awful human beings. It was unreal seeing places I actually recognize (some from my home town where my mom still lives) being vandalized/looted/burned. I support the people who are going out and trying to be heard, outrage over the issue at hand is more than justified of course. Again just be careful, watch out for each other. And don't forget to wear your masks! I'm a little terrified at what the virus is going to do with these gatherings x_x

The protests have moved into my county this evening and we're nearing curfew. I'm hoping things don't get out of hand here tonight but who knows :( I'm already seeing that police are being a bit aggressive with crowd control, not even giving people the space for a protest to breathe so either any effort for an organized protest is gonna be short lived or it's gonna spark into something nasty. Dx

Times are so strange right now. Anyway all I really wanted to say was to be safe, be kind to each other, and I love you guys.
