Faenin MYO slots: CLOSED

Ok guys! A few important bullet points that I'll elaborate on but are worth mentioning front and center first so that they aren't overlooked.

• You may only purchase one slot. There will be a lengthy cooldown on these because this is sort of a special case so be sure to read the trade rules so you're clear on them!
  
• I'll be leaving the claims open for 24 hrs and will be open from now until tomorrow @ 7pm PST (May 15th).  Claims will not be done in the comments, but rather through a google forms link that I'll share below.
  
• We're going to be trying out a new workflow to cut down on wait times that will mean mods will be helping process these.

Alrighty, now onto the details!

I don't generally do MYO slot sales, let alone faenin ones, so this will very likely be a one time occurrence to kind of celebrate all the things coming together and hopefully the start of better times as the group finally settles into order. /gazes wistfully

We'll be trial running a new way to handle Patreon sales this time by using a google form for you guys to submit your claims to. Mods or I will be picking up the claims and reaching out on deviantart so be sure to keep an eye on your notes there! Historically I've been handling these all myself and we can all pretty much agree that I just can't keep up with the volume of admin work without the side effect of terrible waits ><;; So we are going to try it this way, but keep in mind things could change based on feedback so if you have any during the whole process please let us know! 

Ownership and transfer rules:

These slots are going to be limited to one per person. You may purchase for someone else that is not a patron, but that means you are using your slot up and you cannot purchase a second one for yourself. Please note if you are purchasing for someone else you must specify who is getting the slot within the 24hr sale period, no holding onto your slot and transferring it at a later date.

If purchasing a blank MYO slot: The unused slot is nontransferable as with any other MYO slot. Once the elnin's design art is approved and applied, a 6 month transfer cooldown will begin. Once the cooldown period is up, it can be sold/traded/gifted as normal. 

If purchasing an upgrade to an existing elnin: The elnin immediately becomes nontransferable. Once the elnin's upgraded design art is approved and applied, a 6 month transfer cooldown will begin. Once the cooldown period is up, it can be sold/traded/gifted as normal. You must choose the elnin that you are applying your faenin slot to within the 24hr sale period. If you're waffling and need more time please let me know, but I am hoping to avoid leaving slots floating around to keep things nice and straight forward.

Now I realize 6 months is quite a long time, but it helped me feel more comfortable with doing a fully open sale period which would allow everyone a chance to purchase rather than doing a limited number of slots and leaving claims up to a randomizer or speed sale. We'll see how it goes for this one, and if it's a disaster I'll know for next time xD.

Now to reiterate, the trade cooldown doesn't officially start until the elnin's official faenin design art is approved and updated on the masterlist. That means if you purchase the slot for an existing standard elnin, you can no longer trade or sell that elnin until they've finished their transition into a fully fledged faenin. Be sure that you're ok with this rule before moving forward!

Slot details: 

The base slot is $275 and covers quite a lot.

If you're purchasing a brand new MYO, the base slot covers the cost of a kittom. If applying to an existing elnin the slot will accommodate moderate design changes (remember that markings will often distort and become warbled/marbled from exposure to wild magics, take a look at the original faenins for an example of this. It's an optional bit of design consideration of course but it's fun side lore nonetheless x3 ). If you're wanting an adult MYO or if your elnin's rank is changing due to upgrades then you would apply the normal cost for ranks, but we'll go into additions once I've laid out what the base slot covers.

One of the following fluff mutations: Maned/Leggy fluff/Pantaloons/Extra fluffy cheeks 

Adding more to your slot:

The base slot has a lot of bells and whistles but you are welcome to add on extras if you'd like. I'll be using the same rules as with previous sales. This means if you'd like an adult elnin MYO slot instead of a kittom, you'd treat it like any other upgrade purchase (if you're unfamiliar with the process or if anything about this is confusing don't worry we'll be getting in touch to work it all out!).

Also, if you are upgrading an existing adult and you've already purchased any rank upgrades previously, we can adjust the cost of any new rankups done as part of this sale. For example, if you've purchased an adult elnin growth to adventurer ($75) and would now like a noble ($200) rank for them, we can adjust the price to reflect the previous sale ($125).

The google form does not store any of your personal email information, but it does require a google account to access. You will be able to edit your form for 24hrs only. Please know that mods will be helping me process these. If you're uncomfortable with the idea we've provided an option for your interactions to be with me directly and only me. The mods will still have access to view your form, but they will not do anything further with it. 

The way it'll go is that the mods will help sort the initial forms with me, do the first contact to discuss options and any questions. If there are issues that need my direct input I'll dive in. They'll also be handling masterlist updates. Once everything has been confirmed I'll be the one handling payment information and invoicing so that information is only seen by me if there's concern about that.

Our hope is that cuts way down on the amount of time it takes to process these >< So if this goes very well we'll probably see more of it.
