I've mostly copied the old growth sale guide with a few adjustments, so if you've done this before then this should look familiar to you. If you have any questions, please post them in the comments below and I will get back to you asap.

 
The cost of the growths/edits/rankups will be added to your elnin's resale cost.

Slot caps: I'll be doing a sale window for a 24hr period, and after that point sales will be closed. You are free to purchase as many slots as they like AS LONG AS you are purchasing slots for elnins you currently own. You cannot purchase a slot and hold it for a future elnin, and you may not purchase slots for another person unless they are also a Noble tiered patron.

Base slot cost: 

Consider this cost as the last step! You do your adjustments, and wherever you end up at once those are finished is what decides this cost.  

To put it another way, you are not buying an "Adventurer" slot with 9 mp to play with, you pay the "Adventurer" slot price if your elnin's final growth mp lands in the 5-9 range.

Nestling [0-1mp] : $40

Villager [2-4mp] : $55

Adventurer [5-9mp] : $75

Noble [10-13mp] : $200

Base slot breakdown: What is and isn't covered. 

The absolute basic type of growth is a straight growth to adulthood. No additional mp besides what they were born with- that means their adult hair/ear fluff length and tail sizes are all default 0mp (short/small).
*** Stat adjustments can be made with EC/SC if you'd like to work toward them at your leisure when they are reopened (as a note mutations are not currently available for group currency but will be added in the future). USD adjustments will likely be of limited availability.

The cost of the slot is determined by the stats that your elnin ends up with they finish their growth.  

Examples: 

Basic: If currently you have a baby with a 1mp tail and no crown, and decided not to purchase any adjustments to their mp or stats, then they would grow into a Nestling with a total of 1mp (from their tail style) and the slot cost would be $40.
Gettin fancy: However if you have a baby with a 4mp tail and a 4mp crown, and purchase three additional mp to make the tail xLarge, it would give them a grand total of 11mp and the rank of Noble. And lets say you'd also like it to have the starlit trait that one of the parents had. The total cost of the growth would be $30 for the 3mp addition + $200 for the Noble rank +$30 for a parent mutation = $260.

Minor adjustments to markings and colors are allowed with no additional cost.Minor meaning that the overall color and tone of the design is the same. You can make small shifts in hue or small adjustments to markings like adding 'eye shadow' style markings or removing some stripes on the legs if you think they're too busy etc etc. Any changes should feel like it suits a natural progression from being a baby to being an adult. I'd generally be more accepting of changes added that mirror features present on parents.

Deciding hair/ear fluff color: Any combination of colors present on the kittom are fine to use. You may also add additional color highlights if they are present on either of the parents- but please do not, say, change their hair from solid blue to solid brown if there is no brown present on the kittom.  In that case I'd ask that you do primarily blue (or any color already present on the kittom) with brown highlights/streaks/etc.

Adjustment Prices: 

Additional mp : $10 per 1mp added- This is specifically for mp to use for increasing length/size for existing stats.

Purchasing a new crown or tail: If there was none before. This will automatically add the inherent mp for the style.
• 1mp style: $20
• 3mp style: $40
• 4mp style: $60

Upgrading a tail or crown to a higher mp tier: Cost would be $5 plus the difference between the current and new style based on the above listed prices. Examples: Going from 1mp crown to 3mp would be $25. 1mp to 4mp would be $45.

Downgrading a tail or crown to a lower mp tier :  $5

Swapping tail or crown styles within the same tier : $10

Hybrid Traits:
• $100 for a hybrid tail, which are always 5mp ($80 if a parent had one). Hybrid tails can look like whatever you want as long as they are fur/hair based styles. No lizard tails or tentacles etc xD.  
• Crown costs are calculated by adding $40 ($20 if the parent had a hybrid crown) to the highest value of the two crown types you are mushing together. Final mp value of hybrid crowns are 1mp more than the highest value present.
Examples: if you're doing a simple fractal diadem (1mp x 1mp), the cost would be $60 and the crown would be 2mp. If you're doing complex fractal wisp (3mp x 4mp) it would be $100 and the crown would be 5mp. 

Mutations: • See here for the full list of available mutations and prices: Mutations List. **If a mutation is not listed, it is not available for purchase.**

Moderate changes to colors/markings: $35. This covers both changes in marking shapes/placements/additions as well as any color changes to any part of the markings/hair/body etc. Moderate changes would still allow for some echo or impression of their kittom stage or obvious references to the parents.

Drastic changes to colors/markings: N/A - would prefer not to have babies growing up into completely different elnins if possible xDc

Generally, the same guidelines and prices apply if you're upgrading or editing an adult elnin. The price for rankups can be adjusted *IF* your elnin has already paid for their base rank through a growth or previous rankup. So if you grew a kittom to an adventurer and want to now make them a noble, then you'd be able to subtract the $75 from the $200 noble rank. Otherwise the price for the rank upgrade remains as listed.

Q: When can I submit my growth for approval?
A: We'll be keeping growth/edit approvals closed for a little while longer post-kittsunami to give the staff and myself a little bit of a break before things start up again and to give a bit of time to add in more staff . As soon as the public approval journals are open, you are welcome to submit your art at that time <3

Q: Can I purchase more than one slot?
A: Yep! You can claim as many as you like during the window, but please note that you cannot buy a "blank" slot (ie, purchase a placeholder slot for future elnins). You have to purchase for an existing elnin that you yourself own currently (you cannot buy for others).

Q: Do I have to use my slot right away?
A: Nope, once your elnin's growth/rank up details are posted to their masterlist entry you are welcome to hold off on growing them until you're ready. There's no time limit, feel free to spend more time with your new babies!

Q: Can I do mixed USD/EC/AP purchases?
A: I've given this heavy consideration, but I'm gonna say that I don't think I have the mental capacity to process multi-currency growths right now. That being said! We will be re-opening group currency growths/edits etc after the group vacation so you are more than welcome to split your base growth / mutations up with that in mind. Though I do request that you don't try to get more complicated than just splitting mutations from growths, since trying to do things like paying for a villager growth with plans to immediately up it to a noble growth via quests and EC could end up being a nightmare for mods and myself to process.

Q: So I can just buy mutations for my elnins if I'm not doing a growth/rank up?
A: Yes, I will do mutation only adjustments to kittoms and adults. But please note that not all mutations are available for purchase at this time (wings/subtype exclusives/cloud or fire breath/etc), and you will still need to wait for art approvals to open officially before getting any new art added to your masterlist.

Q: Can I do a payment plan?
A: I can do payment plans on totals over $300 but I will still require partial deposits <3 If you need a week or two on smaller amounts I'm also ok with that. I'm flexible though! If you'd like to discuss a payment plan, just go ahead and post your slot claim and when I get to you during processing we can talk it out. If it ends up being that you're not able to get the slot afterwards due to us not being able to find a comfortable middle ground on a payment plan, no sweat.
