Progress report!

Quick update on my progress x) I think I finally got over a few hurdles design wise.. One of the biggest times sinks for me when I'm doing any lore related stuff is just... making final decisions xD;;;;;;;; I get so wishy washy OTL

For example, I've been waffling for the past WEEK on whether or not I want to keep the diadem name for that type of crown, or if I wanted to go with something else. I figure if I'm going to make any changes at any point, now is the time to do it.

Which is why there are going to be a lot of major/minor tweaks across the entire stat board for these guides. FOR INSTANCE.

I'll be changing the term 'phasma' to 'anima'. In the beginning, 'phasma' was intended to describe the 'phantasm'/illusion based horns that elnins could manifest. However as time when on, I needed a bigger term to describe what the horns (and elnin skeletons) are made of, which sorta leaned toward phasma/phasmic because of the original horn relation. But it wasn't really accurate, and people kept calling it 'plasma' and maybe missing connections here and there xD So instead they're just going to be straight up 'horn glamours' for clarity's sake so that things are easier to track. Anima will be the term for the solid form of mana, which is what their horns and skeletons are actually made of (and I can finally have that guide that explains that anima becomes fragile/brittle when exposed to miasma which is why elnins are not allowed to fight without the proper training and magical reinforcements to prevent their bones from shattering into a million pieces during a fight xD). 

But I'll get into that later, it's just one example of a change I'd like to make while everything is in upheaval. 

As you can see on the above guide snippet, one other change is that simple/complex will shift to classic/infused. Since 'simple' sort of implied a 'lesser' state, instead of being thought of as like a base/standard version of a crown type. And 'infused' gives a better idea that the crown has been altered from it's 'classic' shape with extra mp (naturally or otherwise), and has a different appearance as a result.

Now that I've decided on a few things, hopefully I'll stop waffling and can finish up these crown guides xD;;

The good news for you guys is that starting Monday, regardless of where I am with the individual guides, I'll start opening approvals in waves - I'll reach out to each one of you individually to let you know that you're clear to turn in your adult art if you have it for approval. This way we can finally get started on getting those updated <3
