I'm on the next adventure, changes to Patreon.
Added 2024-03-10 20:45:57 +0000 UTCHello kind people, Ed here. It took months of engineering, but the new adventure is finally underway, and I'm currently trying this as I warm up in a restaurant and backup my memory cards.
Now, I can't give many details of the trip as I don't believe in spoiling the suprise. But from the photo attached you'll notice that Willy is now a lot more capable off-road, has 4 times the power, and even has 4WD and diff lock π he also has some other ridiculous modifications which you'll have to wait for the videos to see I'm affraid....but rest assured, the level of engineering ridiculousness is the most absurd I've ever done.
On to the Patreon; I've been meaning to change the donation method from per creation to monthly, but I wanted to make sure I was ready to start producing content first. I had some personal things to deal with first, but those are all behind me now, and I'm ready to start cranking out the content, once I've finished this trip of course.
So here's the plan: I'll be "charging" your monthly donation for this post, and I've asked Patreon to change the billing to monthly from now on. I will use this monthly method to help make me produce videos faster as want to give you value for your money.
Anyone on the "postcard" tier and above will be getting a postcard from this trip of course π
Oh and I had to abandon the idea of the death valley trip as the permits to film it weren't happening.
Oh, and the modifications I did to Willy for this trip cost around $12,000, so thank you for your support. My accountant thinks I'm insane.
Got to go hit the trails again before the sun gets too low. Area 51 is a long way away. Oh, there goes that surprise, whoops.
