Isabella... You’ve been ignoring me all week.
I’m sorry if I freaked you out with what I said, but-
ISABELLA
You didn’t.
This isn’t on you, it’s me.
I don’t think I know how to talk to you anymore.
Now that everything's out in the open… I have no idea what to do.
JAY
Then let me help.
You said you didn’t wanna lose me at least as a friend, but it barely feels like that’s what we are.
You know that I want you, and I think you want me too.
Can’t we just try to make this work?
ISABELLA
It’s complicated, Jay.
I can’t give you what you want.
I can’t hold hands with you in public, go to the movies or dinner, post pictures together…
If we dated, it’d have to be in secret.
And you deserve better than that.
Your first relationship should be with someone who can give you everything.
