patreon

full access subscription poll

HI PATRONS-  life hasn't been an easy journey and every month I rattle my brain trying to find a better way to make income from creating miniatures . I do worry about a future burnout

so I have been thinking about a full access to all minis subscription for 10$.

with this tier you get every month the new minis and have access to all the minis I have ever created . its a bold and maybe crazy idea . I am very reluctant  to do this as you may understand.

I also feel it may be unfair for past patrons that have supported me for so long

I would really love to hear your thoughts and options on this matter.

leave your onion in the comments  - thanks you

thank you for your support

I do sell them on my my mini factory. And all patreon has a 40% off discount code. But I think I will start adding them all to the loyalty rewards :) thanks for you input

Do you sell past minis elsewhere? If not, then maybe offering a discount code every month so newer patrons can purchase older models might help

I don't think it is a good idea to get all the past minis for the same price. While it is unfair to past patrons the real problem is that you will not be able to keep patrons. They will just join every few months to get all of your work for the same price. I back almost 60 Patreons/Tribes every month and there are some that I just join every few months to "catch up" because they give away all the releases ever created each month. A better idea would be to create a throwback release each month for patrons to get past releases that they don't have. I would like this. I think your minis are quite unique and many don't look close enough to see the value. They only see a release of 2 minis a month and pass without seeing the value of the swapminis. Your minis are great because of the modularity. I do see your struggle and have seen it before with other Patreons and are a one-man operation. Its tough. I say stick to your style and don't neglect the value of what you offer. If you want to increase the perceived value to potential Patreons then maybe throw in some terrain to match?

I agree 100%.

Being completely honest with you because I think you deserve it. If you did this I would join for a month and then drop off, and probably come back every 6 months or so once there was enough new stuff I was excited to print. I would love to be able to support creators indefinitely but my hobby budget is limited. All that said, I am also not a current patron, just follow your work - so you would be drawing in new customers, just maybe not on a long-term basis.

I think your swap-minis are something special. The amount of detail and options are a work of art and I reckon you should keep them at a premium that people need to invest monthly into. But you could perhaps create a tier with access to the standard minis? Then again, I'm Jon Snow and know nothing. But I've seen many a friend invest a lot of time, sweat and tears into art that doesn't receive the respect it deserves and i think that's sad.

thank for the input :)

I've seen people doing similar, but granting access only after few months (2-3), so that people get used to your stuff/keep subscribed even after getting all ;) gl in any case

As a long time patron i wouldn't mind access to all files as ive lost the goblins set from before you did the swap minis. Ive also been to proud to ask you for em so that helps with people like me 😅
