[POLL] Subscription billing
Added 2023-03-09 22:15:53 +0000 UTCAs mentioned, I'd like to see what the consensus is among patrons on subscription billing, before I make any decisions to switch!
Here's patreon's article on it, but TL;DR: the day you pledge to my patreon, is the same day you'll be charged monthly instead of at the beginning of each month. For existing patrons, you would still be charged on the 1st as usual even if I make the switch, but you can cancel and pledge on a day that suits you for monthly charges.
Also, this will avoid new patrons being double-charged if they pledge towards the end of the month, as I have my patreon set to charge the moment someone subscribes.
Personally, I am okay with either option, but I put it to you since it affects your finances more.

I have to say, it doesn't matter much to me, honestly. If it's easier for you to work with subscription billing, then do it. I probably won't change anything, since I don't mind it being paid with all the bills. Means I don't have to worry about forgetting something down the line.^^
