This painting took me a lot of time and there where some technical questions about it from patrons, so I think this one deserves an art journal.
First image shows anatomy notes, second are composition notes and third is a gif with the main changes process.

Color. I used a triadic theme (3 colors), yellow, blue and red, each hue on equal sides of the color wheel for harmony. I thought at first using a darker palette, which is more usual on various of my works, but at the middle of the process I experimented with a more vibrant less realistic color palette using the SAI and Photoshop Hue filters, I liked the contrast I got so I went all for it.
Painting. Shading technique is basically the same as always, just that I took more time on refining, cleaning and adding details than usual. Started with a lineart with basic color below, then combined everything to paint over it freely (which I often do to not worry about previous layers).
Other. Some random discarded ideas was putting her sitting in a cooler, sitting in middle of the water and even standing.
