What day of the week should we release our shows?

Hello faithful patrons! Thanks for sticking with the show over the last while, as we move forward from Versailles and onto our next project! During Versailles, release schedule on a consistent basis wasn't really thing - I was pretty much following the lead of those that acted a century before after all!

Now that, I'm following a different formula - the once a week release schedule for $5 patrons and above, or once every two weeks if you're not at that level. From September, Poland Is Not Yet Lost (for $5+ patrons) and the revamped/redone Thirty Years War will be yours, so it's time you had your say on how we go about doing it.

What day of the week do you prefer us to release episodes on? Maybe you need a little pepping up on a Monday; maybe you like your Friday treat, or perhaps you use podcasts to relax, and Sunday suits you better. Either way, throughout August we'll have this poll up here, and supporters at all levels will be able to determine which day a new episode is released from September!

I'd have to agree with a lot of the above comments. I prefer earlier in the week because of the commute thing but you put out so much awesome content that I know I'll listen regardless of when it comes out. You've got so much going on... just pick what works best for you. Plus since it's history, it's not like a live event that NEEDS to be up on a certain day. Thanks again for all that you do.

I like Fridays because, well weekends. But really the day should fit your schedule for optimum podcasting goodness.

I've researched into the best days for social media releases, and it comes up pretty much any day but Sunday. If podcasts are at all similar, then a weekday is best, and that makes intuitive sense if people are looking for shows for their commute to work. Ironically, many history shows are released on Sunday, perhaps because it allows a host with a weekday job to take the weekend to pump it out and deal with any glitches while not at work. I know that's the reason I've always released on Sundays. :-/

Ditto to Laurent.

Charles Merrifield

I prefer earlier in the week but whatever is easiest for you Zack.

Deborah Gospodarek

Ditto to Laurent, I will take them any day that works for you, Zack. Your teaching schedule may change so just make it easiest for you.

Robbie Monsma

You could add an option "whatever works for Zack", that would be my choice.

Laurent Callot

Keep the quality high, as you have, any day works!

Charlie Ferranti

Pep up for Monday, please, early. I’m two hours ahead of you, so want something interesting to listen to rather than thinking of the day ahead.

Andrew Aikman

I am good with any day, if it is consistent. I only made my choice based upon my soon to change, odd work schedule. Rock on, Zack!
