Q&A - send me your questions patrons!
Added 2019-05-04 12:26:20 +0000 UTCTo celebrate our 7th birthday on the 18th May we won't be running wild for 7 weeks - instead we'll be hosting a Q&A and everyone is welcome to take part! We'll also be dropping some pretty huge news, so tune in even just for that!
Any questions? About Versailles, Suez, the Korean War or anything else? What about podcasting generally, my actual job as a lecturer or the wondrous quality of chocolate buttons? I'll do my best to answer them all!
I look forward to hearing from you all soon ๐

If you could ask one question to a historical figure you've covered, and they had to answer it truthfully, who would it be, and what would you ask them?

2019-05-12 17:02:15 +0000 UTCWhat do you think about historians who allow their opinions and ideologies to affect their work? They ignore bad points about their subject or twist arguments on their head - you know what I mean. I don't mean the prejudices of their time - racism, etc. - but 'Schools of thought', 'historical trends', 'political views'

(You wear a monocle and have a sweet mustache/sideburns combo in this scenario)

2019-05-06 17:22:18 +0000 UTCWhat black magic are you using to make your days last 48 hours? I have no idea how you manage to do all the things you. It's incredibly impressive but I'd be really interested how many hours per week you spend on the podcast, on work, etc.
