Examples in my own work with other rules that I don't apply as often as previous ones (*just realized I put triadic again), but still are useful when constructing the color palette of a painting.
In a related note, I don't know if I have mentioned before, but I tend to lean toward warm-earthy palettes which can be seen in these and previous examples (yellow, orange, red, brown, salmon, cream, etc.). That's just a personal preference since I like to paint sunsets and animal fur which are usually made with hues in that area as well.
