I Went to Amsterdam and Germany!

How are you all?
I wanted to share my past week experience with you. I made a sudden plan to fly down to Wacken, Germany to watch and support my friends at Bloodywood play their debut show at Wacken Open Air (holy land of metal). They were already on a europe tour during July, me and Karan are very close and ive seen the band grow from Zero to this and know how much he worked hard so didnt want to miss not being there on their biggest day!
It was a sudden plan and so had lots of trouble getting my visa on time literally got my visa on the evening of 29th July and i had to leave the same night to catch a flight at 1.30am lol!! It was insane, till the last day i didnt know if im going or not but sooo glad it happened. I was so tensed but now when i look back, i feel like wow what a moment of "living on the edge" lol. Plus it was a little break from the monotony of the creative process here.
During the trip, i also went to Frankfurt and visited the workshop where my semi electronic bagpipes are built. I took my bagpipes along, and got all the problems i was facing fixed, it was reaally needed and due for over a year!! So i am so glad that this trip worked out.
I reached on 30th july at Amsterdam, cuz thats where these guys were, then we all drove to Germany on 31st night and they performed on 1st August at Wacken. Wacken is the biggest metal festival, and the sort of response they recvd was amazing and it made me feel proud and inspired to get my own tour sometime soon!!
Well the picture above is from wacken festival, it was loads of fun. Then from there on 2nd August i took off to Frankfurt to visit the manufacturer then got back to India on 5th August.
Pretty short trip, but it was really cool!
Karan (music producer) is also back in the studio now, so we have started working on the song again.
Sorry, its taking longer than my covers but originals do take time cuz the creative process is so intense. You have to do it right, and have no base or foundation as you would if youre redoing an existing song.
So thats why its taking us a bit of time.
