So what have i been upto all month??

Well it had been on my mind since a few months now that I want to build a team of my act The Snake Charmer. I always thought that when people watch me live, it should not just be a gig. It should be an experience and I was after that for a couple of months actually. In January I hired my first employee!! Her name is "Srishty" and she assists me as well as manages the queries for my live acts etc. I really needed to hire someone because I was just too much into staring the computer and handling the "business" side of my job and was able to focus less on music, practice etc. It's really too much work to manage all by yourself so I thought this was a good move to work on so I get some space and time to focus on the VERY important things! I had to start working on my original 2nd week of Jan but little did I realise that hiring someone new also means that you have to train them and oh gosh I did! For more than a month I had to sit with Srishty and explain her everything from how I work to how I think to how I want her to think and just everything. This took me almost the entire day everyday she came at work. I was with her explaining things and I knew I had to do this to be able to be independently work on my music and create videos later on. She is a bit stable now lol as we are at the end of the second month of her job. 😁 Then as soon as she was on board we started to hunt for a team of dancers, I want to expand my live act and live up to my name and the experience ppl feel when they watch my videos. So we met quite a few dancers and then finalised on one team who I really like to work with.. All this set up at about Feb 2nd. Then I started work on my original song and then we got a query from an event company in Dubai for me to perform at a street music festival, this was for a 3 days continuous festival and I had to perform everyday of the 3 days and was supposed to perform 2 shows a day. I took it up, and I also thought it would help me accumulate funds I need for shooting my video. Then a week before that, we also finalised a show in Mumbai. For this show, they accepted my idea of having me perform with an entire team not just solo. So from about 10th Feb full dance rehearsals started happening. I told the dancers that I also want to do steps and not stand stagnant on stage so we really had to put in the sweat. Almost all of Feb I had been traveling 3 hrs to get to rehearsals and back + 2hrs of rehearsing and then come back to studio and manage my new assistant/manager and my own new song production.. Boyyyy it was so hectic, barely got time for anything but I also felt nice that I'm doing so many things, I'm growing my act as an artist, and getting my game to the next level! 😊 So after all the juggling between everything finally on 23rd Feb me and my sound engineer left for the Dubai show ( I was called for a solo show). This was my first time there and I loved alot of Dubai. But frankly even my trip to Dubai was pretty hectic cuz performing two times a day keeps you pretty bounded and of course on your toes! The gigs there went Fab and I'll put some bits of it on the Patron story here, pls do check later. So now I came back last night (27th night) and today again I was off since morning for a mega rehearsal with the dancers and musicians for my Mumbai gig tomorrow for which I'm gonna have to get off my bed in precisely 1:30 hrs and I haven't slept yet cuz I really wanted to update this here before it gets pushed over. I have a flight in 5 hrs and my house is about 1hr from the airport, so it's always leaving early. Anyway, I wanted to share with you all that tomorrow is the FIRST TIME i will perform live with Dancers, musicians and go to a gig as a team!! I am Soo excited and a part of me feels proud to have done this finally after all the running around and juggling between everything. .
