Important announcement about New Video

Hi everybody,

This is only something that i am sharing with all my Patrons, yesterday you must have received a notification that i uploaded a new video on my youtube channel (to those who are subscribed). I did, but now its not there anymore and here is why.

Usually my music does not have lyrics and focusses on happy, positive stuff esp with the whole Celtic Indian fusion thing i tried. Well so here's the little story, i uploaded a video yesterday of the song that i posted to you all the other day. Usually my videos get a very small ratio of dislikes compared to the likes and views i get. However, minutes after uploading the video i started seeing more dislikes than usual and after waiting for about 30 minutes to my surprise i saw how some people started to misinterpret certain lyrics in the rap section of this song. The problem was these words "its a new world order break the borders break the borders". Now some people started relating it to the illuminati conspiracy theory thinking we were being political with the song. To be really honest, i never had any such intention. What we meant by those lyrics were literally like ' a new world where everybody is happy peaceful, joyful etc.' but we started to realise after some comments and research that some people thought we were referring to the 1991's speach by Sr. President Bush about 'new world order' and started to take offence.

Although we got mostly positive comments appreciating the song, really liking the message to the song (interpreting it the way we wanted them to) and being supportive. Generally, besides some occasional racist remarks i almost never receive negative comments about a concentrated issue and so it was concerning to me because i had no intention to cross any sensitive line or to offend people. Soon after doing a bit more research on those words, we realised that probably it was our fault too that we did not carefully understand the other meaning of those lyrics. By "Break the borders" we actually wanted to convey - breaking artistic and cultural borders not national borders or threatening somebody's national integrity. I even posted a comment explaining what we actually meant but you know, how many people would actually read that? How many people will i keep going and explaining? Its the internet after all. Realising that perhaps we were unintentionally a bit politically insensitive or unaware about certain issues we thought, it would be best to take down the video for now and think how can we solve this issue. 

I am a very opinionated person, and i do not hold back if i truly want to say something but when i did not mean what people have interpreted my song to be and especially when it was offending them. I felt it was my obligation and responsibility to address the issue and not in anyway try to make more views off something controversial and lose a loyal audience/fanbase (which is what i care about the most). Hence, we have taken down that video, Raoul (the rapper) came down to the studio today and we re recorded his parts and we will RE-SHOOT his video parts again and hopefully in another couple of days we will be able to put up the video. This could be Sunday night, or by tuesday.

I am sorry if by any means i have disappointed any of you too, we learn as we go and i feel we learnt it quickly and acted swiftly towards addressing the issue and know what to keep in mind before putting up videos with lyrics.
