I'm a designer working in games, and boy does it suck how stuck / embedded in using Adobe things feel for creating 2D game assets, marketing stuff etc. 🫠

2024-08-28 22:39:29 +0000 UTCsubscribed partly just to say this, but it actually IS acrobat in the enterprise that built adobe. weird example here, but everytime i say PDF around my parents they actually tense up, because of so many hoops and digital signatures they have to jump through to view or print a document on their work computers if adobe released the standards for PDF or DNG today, you just KNOW that they'd be locked down tight

2024-08-28 01:10:47 +0000 UTCsuper interesting perspective on adobe from a creator perspective. i’ve interacted with them primarily as a student but recently had the opportunity to go test stuff/give feedback in SF. they HATE talking about money so much it’s bonkers considering they’re taking so much of it from us :,)
